Fibreglass

Using the same technology as that employed to make boats and certain car bodies, fibreglass can be an attractive option for small ponds where the shape and size are difficult to construct using flexible liner. The material can also be dyed to any colour required. It is important that sufficient layers of fibreglass are laid down, and that the final gel coat is waterproof. Using fibreglass is an expensive optionand is best undertaken by a specialist firm or experienced craftsman.
