Positioning a flexible liner:

1. With the liner roughly in place, take an edge in both hands and raise and lower it sharply. This produces a cushion of air between the  liner and the geo-textile and allows the liner to be drawn towards you.

2. Repeat until the liner is correctly positioned, checking that the geo-textile has not been dislodged during the process.

3. Stop further wind affecting the liner by weighing it down at the sides, taking care not to allow any sharp objects to come into contact with the liner.

4. Fill the pond with enough water to hold the bottom securely, and tug at the edges to minimize any creases and folds.
