Neighbours

If your project can be seen or heard by the neighbours, check that they have no objection to your proposed scheme. A rock waterfall for example, will be heard by your neighbours and may cause them irritation. Excavations can affect the foundations of a neighbour's house or outhouses, fences or trees, as well as the water table or water supply to adjoining properties. If you consider that any of these factors could be a problem, consult an engineer.
