Red Hardy Waterlilies
Nymphaea 'Escarboucle'
A first cup-shaped, the flowers become star-shaped, about 15-18cm (7-7in) across, with bright vermilion red petals, the outer ones tipped with white, and deep orange stamens. The brown-tinged young leaves, 25-28cm (10-11in) in diameter. This is one of the best reds for medium and large pools , and stays open later in the afternoon than most other red varieties

Nymphaea 'Jennifer Rebecca' (Tropical)
This is a night blooming waterlily with dark red flowers shaped like a sunflower, 20-25cm (8-10in) across, and with deep pink stamens. The nearly round leaves, 38cm (15in) across, are reddish brown and sharply dentate, with the edges of the older leaves becoming distinctly wavy.
